La possibilità di inserire l’hardware NFC nelle SIM, da poco annunciato al GSM NFC and Mobile Money Summit 2012 apre il panorama della telefonia avanzata a scenari davvero molto interessanti, come i pagamenti attraverso il cellulare e servizi per l’utente di seconda generazione.
“You knew that NFC hardware can be embedded into SIM cards, right? Right? Regardless of whether you’ve been paying attention, the practice is about to become a whole lot more common, as 45 of the world’s largest mobile operators have extended their support for the GSM Association’s standard.”
Fantascienza? Speriamo sia così e che lo smartphone possa diventare sempre di più il centro di tutta la nostra attività in movimento eliminando retaggi del passato e portandoci tuti verso scenari digitali di interazione con le aziende (pubbliche e private).
In fondo, a mio parere, l’eliminazione del digital divide, soprattutto in Italia, sarà più semplice se il cavallo di Troia per farlo è rappresentato da un telefonino…
